[/a] releases a new single next month.
‘Try’ is the second track to be lifted from the Canadian-Portugese star’s second album ‘Folklore’, and is released on March 15 through Polydor.
[a] says of the track: “This is about the reality of love. My energy used to just go everywhere, but now I’m more grounded because I’ve found true love. The idea is that, yeah, sometimes life sucks. But life is only so long, and somebody can come along who makes you want to be a better person. You just have to roll with the punches.”
Released on two CD formats, it comes backed with an acoustic version of her breakthrough hit ‘I’m Like A Bird’, a Dan The Automator mix of the title track, a live version of ‘Hey Man’ recorded at London’s Forum, plus videos for ‘Try’ and previous single ‘Powerless’.
