Pharrell Williams follows in the footsteps of 50 Cent and Jay-Z...

THE NEPTUNES’ PHARRELL WILLIAMS is following in the footsteps of 50 CENT and JAY-Z by launching his own clothing line.

The producer has developed two ranges in partnership with Reebok which are set to be released next summer, including ‘Ice Cream’ – a collection of men’s and women’s footwear, and a men’s clothing collection called ‘Billionaire’s Boys Club’.

Williams said: “I’ve always wanted to do more than music, and now I’ll be able to explore the world of fashion by designing my style of clothes and sneakers.”

Todd Krinsky, vice president of Reebok’s Rbk division said: “Pharrell’s collections will fuse skate, hip-hop and alternative rock global youth cultures to reach a broader audience across all musical genres.”

The ‘Billionaire’s Boys Club’ and ‘Ice Cream’ collections will be created in collaboration with renowned Japanese artist Nigo – best known for his ‘A Bathing Ape’ line.

Initially the ranges will only be feature a select run of five or six items and be available at high-end clothing stores. The ‘Billionaire’s Boys Club’ range will offer T-shirts, athletic wear, jeans and button-down shirts.

Rbk are already responsible for launching 50 Cent’s G-Unit footwear collection, as well as Jay-Z‘s S. Carter shoes.
