New Found Glory start work on seventh studio album

Punk heroes head into the studio with producer Neal Avron

New Found Glory have started work on their seventh studio album.

The Florida punks headed into the studio this Easter Sunday (April 24) to begin work on the record.

Writing on his blog at, guitarist Chad Gilbert wrote: “If you follow me on then you’ve read a bunch of tweets from me about new album stuff, demos, and writing over the course of the last six months. Well the time has finally come and we have never been this prepared!”

Gilbert revealed that the band will once again be working closely with producer Neal Avron.

“Going back and forth with him and having him critique our ideas for this long has really worked wonders,” he wrote. “It forced us to write what I honestly feel are our best songs. I know every band says that about their new stuff but you will hear for yourselves soon enough!”

The new album will be the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Not Without A Fight’.
