NEW FOUND GLORY’s appearance at the NME Signing Tent caused chaos this afternoon when hundreds of fans suged forwards in an attempt to catch a glimpse of their heroes.

The group were one of the bands who agreed to meet their fans at the NME Signing Tent, and proved to be by far the most popular band of the weekend so far.

An eyewitness said :”There must have been at least 400 people straining to see them. Whenever they started signing a load surged forward to the barriers just in front. It was an incredible scene.”

New Found Glory appearaed on the Evening Session Stage earlier today. Speaking during the signing, guitarist Chad Gilbert told NME.COM:”It was a lot of fun and there’s a lot of cool bands on this weekend that I want to see like The Breeders, Feeder and The Get Up Kids. We’re having a good time.”

Reacting to the attention at the signing tent, Gilbert said: “We like it when it’s up close and personal like this. We’ve had bracelets, toys and candy from the fans.”
