Ahead of Muse‘s Drones World Tour hitting cinemas next month, NME can reveal the epic new clip from the concert film.
Recorded during a string of tour dates in 2016, the film brings their in-the-round spectacular to the big screen. Watch the clip exclusively on NME.com above.
It’s the latest of Muse’s acclaimed live concert films, and features performances of some of the Teignmouth band’s biggest hits, including ‘Plug in Baby’, ‘Supermassive Black Hole’ and ‘Knights of Cydonia’ – but unless you were there, you’ll never have seen special effects like it.
Speaking about the concept for the tour, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has said: “The symbiosis between humanity and technology has always been something I am interested by. Drones just seem to be a very interesting modern metaphor for what that represents… You want to leave people with the idea that they ask the question themselves about the role of technology in our lives and whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing.”
Drones World Tour hits cinemas worldwide on July 12 for one night only, with tickets available now. For tickets and more information, visit here.
