Illness forces New Young Pony Club to cancel Brighton show

Tonight's (September 24) gig is off

New Young Pony Club have pulled out of tonight’s (September 24) gig at Brighton’s Concorde 2 venue, citing illness as the reason for their cancellation.

The band’s spokesperson explained to NME.COM that lead singer Tahita Bulmer had been suffering from a sore throat, had visited a doctor earlier today and, as a result of the illness, was unable to perform tonight.

The spokesperson went on to say that she expected Bulmer’s throat to be better in time for tomorrow’s (September 25) show at London’s Astoria.
