Niall Horan reveals plan for his second album in 2018

That 1D reunion will have to wait

Niall Horan has revealed that he plans to launch straight into work on his second solo album while he’s on tour next year.

Having only released his debut solo record ‘Flicker’ in October, the ex-One Direction singer says that the process for his next album will take place over the course of 2018.

“I’d say over the course of the year I’ll start writing. With jamming at sound checks and things like that, things always come up – little riffs and bits and pieces”, Horan told the Daily Star.

He also revealed a dream collaborator in Julia Michaels, the songwriter who has worked with Fifth Harmony and Demi Lovato: “She’s one of the best songwriters on the planet so I’ll be looking to sit down and write with her”.

Niall Horan recently hit the No.1 spot on the US Top 40 Radio Chart with single ‘Slow Hands’. Listen to it below.
