Nick Cave has confirmed more European festival dates this year following his Meltdown 99 show at London South Bank Queen Elizabeth Hall from June 17 to July 2. The dates include an appearance at the Cambridge Folk Festival.

The Liss Ard show will also feature an appearance from John Cale; in previous years the festival near Cork in the Irish Republic has hosted shows by Patti Smith and Lou Reed.
Meanwhile, Lee Hazlewood – psychedelic gravel-voiced country wacko and one time partner of Nancy Sinatra – has just been added to the Meltdown bill on June 28.
