Eminem to make guest appearence on newcomer Nicki Minaj’s debut album

Rapper lends his vocals to 'Roman's Revenge' on MC's first record

Eminem is set to make a guest appearance on a track by hip-hop newcomer Nicki Minaj.

The rapper has lent his vocals to ‘Roman’s Revenge’ which features on forthcoming debut album ‘Pink Friday’, out on November 22.

Eminem agreed to collaborate after the female MC had previously sent him a track he admitted he was not into.

“We went out on a whim and put it in the air like, ‘It’d be great if he would collaborate with us,'” Minaj told MTV News. “I remember I kept talking about it, and I thought, ‘It can’t hurt.’ I sent him one record, and he didn’t love it. He didn’t say, ‘I don’t love it’; he just said, ‘Can you send me something that’s a little more me?’ I sent him an email and thanked him for that, just having enough respect. Sometimes people don’t respond. He had the respect, at least, to treat me like a peer.”

In the end Minaj decided to try again, sending him the Swizz Beatz-produced track.

“He picked up the phone for that one,” she said, adding that Eminem even ended up producing two choruses after there were clearances with their first idea.
