The rapper follows the video for Beyonce collaboration 'Feeling Myself' with a technicolour new cut
Nicki Minaj has shared a new video for ‘The Night Is Still Young’.
The Queens rapper unveiled the clip for the track, taken from her latest album ‘The Pinkprint’, on Jay Z’s new streaming service Tidal today (May 22), following a series of teasers on Instagram and Twitter. You can watch the video at the top of the page.
It’s the second video Minaj has revealed this week – as Stereogum reports – after she unveiled the clip for her Beyonce collaboration ‘Feeling Myself’, which also features on December’s ‘The Pinkprint’. The video shows the pair heading to Coachella festival and was similarly premiered on Tidal.
Meanwhile, Azealia Banks criticised the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards earlier this week for its perceived bias towards Minaj. In a series of Tweets published on May 18, Banks reacted to the announcement of nominees by describing the BET Awards as “bogus” for favouring Minaj, who has won the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist award every year since 2009, including a victory over Banks in 2013.
