Nicki Minaj filming reality TV show

The rapper is apparently working with the E! channel on the new project

Nicki Minaj is reportedly set to head up her own reality TV show.

The rapper has apparently already begun filming the show for the E! channel, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

No details about the show have been released, but Hilton says the programme will be “a place to show off all of her wonderful alter-egos we only get a small piece of on her albums!”

Hilton says that “sources close to Her Minajesty” claim that filming started earlier this week. The show follows further television news related to the rapper, as Nicki Minaj was recently confirmed as a judge for the next season of American Idol, alongside country singer Keith Urban – pictured right. The series will return in January for its 12th season.

Minaj and Urban, who is best known in the UK for his marriage to Nicole Kidman, will sit on the panel alongside Mariah Carey, who is also making her debut as a judge, and Randy Jackson, the sole survivor from the show’s 11th series.
