Nicki Minaj addresses Miley Cyrus VMAs feud in ‘Down In The DM’ remix – listen

Minaj adds verse to the Yo Gotti single

Nicki Minaj makes reference to her feud with Miley Cyrus at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards in a remix of Yo Gotti’s ‘Down in the DM’.

The Fader has teased a clip of the remix, with the full version expected to surface on Thursday (February 4). Listen to the preview below.

Memphis rapper Yo Gotti originally released the track as part of his ‘The Return’ mixtape in September 2015, later releasing it as a single. He releases new album ‘The Art of Hustle’ on February 19. It’ll feature Lil Wayne, Future, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Timbaland and others.

Minaj raps in the preview snippet: “I said Miley, wuss good / I said could you pay my bills like O’Reilly, wuss good? / I just sit back and observe / All these niggas that I done curved / If it goes down in your DM then baby boy you lucky / Cause 99.9 percent of these fuckboys can’t fuck me.”

Cyrus was hosting last year’s VMAs ceremony with Minaj picking up the Best Hip-Hop Video award when the pair clashed.

Cyrus had previously spoken to The New York Times about Minaj’s recent beef with Taylor Swift, saying that it was “not very polite” of Minaj to involve Swift in a conversation about racism in music.

Accepting the award, Minaj said, “And now, back to this bitch who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what’s good?” Cyrus proceeded to suggest that her remarks had been taken out of context.
