Nine Black Alps reveal ‘groundbreaking’ new album

Band profess to be halfway through 'the best album ever made'

Nine Black Alps have revealed they are halfway through recording their second album.

In a posting on their Myspace blog, the band joked the follow-up to their 2005 debut ‘Everything Is’ should “top the Radio Times and Smash Hits magazine 100 best albums of all time. Easy”.

Fifteen songs are being recorded for the record, produced by Oasis producer Dave Sardy, with the final album expected to include 12 or 13 tracks.

However the sessions have not been without some drama.

“So far, we have blown up three amps, and two sets of studio monitors,” explained the group. “Which sounds cool, but isn’t clever.”
