Nine Inch Nails will be joined by THE ROLLINS BAND, Skunk Anansie, PERFECT CIRCLE, MACHINEHEAD and QUEEN ADREENA at a two-day rock extravaganza called ‘THE LOST WEEKEND’ at LONDON’S DOCKLANDS ARENA on July 1 & 2.

Nine Inch Nails appearance on July 1, following their Glastonbury Festival show on June 23, will mark their only indoor UK gig of the year. It follows their last indoor British show at London’s Brixton Academy during November 1999.

Skunk Anansie‘s show the following day (July 2) will be their only UK gig of the year, something that has excited singer Skin.

“It’s one of the years best rock line-ups,” she said, “We’re looking forward to terrorising home soil in our only UK gig this year.”

The Rollins Band, who join Skunk Anansie on the second day, will also play their only other UK show of 2000. The band, who released the acclaimed ‘Get Some And Go’ album in February, played a sold-out show at London’s Forum on March 25.

As well as the tattoo parlours and piercing stalls, Perfect Circle – featuring ex-Tool singer Maynard James Keenans and former Guns ‘n’ Roses drummer Josh Freese – will make their UK debut on July 1, just weeks after the May 22 release of their album ‘Mer De Noms’.

Machinehead will play their only UK live show of the year on July 2, a week after the June 26 release of new single, ‘The Blood, The Sweat, The Tears’.

Former Daisy Chainsaw singer Katie Jane Garside will appear third on July 1 bill with her new band Queen Adreena.

Organisers hope to make the event an annual happening.

Meanwhile, the new promotional video for Nine Inch Nails US only release of single ‘Starfuckers, Inc’ suggests that TRENT REZNOR has buried the hatchet with former protigi turned foe MARILYN MANSON.

In the promo, Reznor is seen going on a date to a carnival with a person who isn’t revealed until the end of the film, that person being Marilyn Manson. Reznor is also shown wearing eye make-up that mimics Manson’s own.

Last year Reznor had claimed that working as producer on Manson‘s ‘Antichrist Superstar’ had led him to the brink of a nervous breakdown and to consider quitting music altogether. He had also said that some of Manson‘s remarks about him in the star’s autobiography were “ignorant, mean and malicious” and that the friendship was “a big fuck-up”.

The Allstar website [url=]www.cdnow.com also reports that during the ‘Starfuckers, Inc’ film Reznor, quite literally, has a pop at some of his favourite targets. He is seen at a cononut shy throwing balls at plates featuring pictures of Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, Kiss’ Gene Simmons, REM’s Michael Stipe, Mariah Carey and Marilyn Manson himself.

However, the biggest attack is reserved for Courtney Love. An overweight Courtney look-a-like wearing a tiara and tape over her nose (suggesting cosmetic surgery) is seen sitting in a “dunking booth” with the word ‘waste’ printed on it.

A UK spokesperson for Nine Inch Nails said there were no plans to release the track as a single in Britain, though a different single was likely to appear by the summer. It will be the second track to lifted from last autumn’s ‘The Fragile’ album, following October’s ‘We’re In This Together’.
