Grunge's most famous couple sing 'Stinking Of You' in new rock doc

Footage of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain duetting with his wife, Hole‘s Courtney Love, on an unreleased track titled ‘Stinking Of You’ has surfaced online – scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to listen.

The clip is taken from the new rock documentary Hit So Hard: The Life And Near Death Story Of Patty Schemel, which is directed by P. David Ebersole and tells the story of the former Hole drummer’s life and self-destructive streak, as well as exploring the popularity of the Seattle music scene in the 90s.

In the video clip, Love strums an acoustic guitar and sings the track, before Cobain joins in on vocals. It is also interspersed with footage of the famous grunge couple spending time with their daughter Frances Bean Cobain at home.

Earlier this week (April 16), former Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson claimed that Cobain had recorded a whole album’s worth of solo demos before he died in 1994, which no-one has ever heard. Speaking about the material, he said: “He was headed in a direction that was really cool. It would have been his ‘White Album’. That’s really what he was going towards, a solo album but working with different people.”

The guitarist also reunited with the mid-’90s line-up of Hole for the first time in 15 years in New York on Saturday night (April 13). Scroll down and click below to watch fan footage of their two-song performance.
