Wild Youth forced to cancel shows

Birmingham’s Wild Youth have been been forced to cancel several shows due to singer Dan Wild’s injuries, sustained following an attack.

Wild was assaulted on Friday (October 7) in Lichfield.

He went to hospital with a broken nose and damage to his right eye, which may be permanent.

A spokesman for the band said: “This was a cowardly act of malicious and extreme violence aimed at a group of guys simply because they choose to look and act differently.”

Wild Youth were forced to cancel their show on Saturday (October 6) in the town and have also pulled out of the following dates:

Croydon Gun (13)
