It's the country star's first in four years
Country star Kris Kristofferson has announced he is to tour the UK for the first time in four years.
Hailed by many as an artist’s artist, the three-time Grammy Award winner has recorded 26 albums, including three with Willie Nelson, the late Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings as part of The Highwaymen.
His success as a songwriter brought him to Hollywood, and launched Kristofferson into the world of acting. In 1977, he won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in ‘A Star Is Born’, before starring in the films ‘Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore’ and ‘Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid’.
His forthcoming UK tour will consist of intimate solo acoustic performances.
The tour dates are as follows:
Manchester Apollo (March 28)
Sheffield City Hall (30)
Brighton Dome (31)
Bristol Colston Hall (April 1)
London Royal Albert Hall (2)
