Ornette Coleman collapsed yesterday (June 17) during his performance at Tennessee‘s Bonnaroo Festival.
The 77-year-old jazz legend and recent Pulitzer Prize recipient suffered from heatstroke and was immediately taken to a medical tent and given intravenous fluids.
He was then brought to Coffey County Hospital and released in stable condition later that evening, according to a Bonnaroo spokesperson.
