Peter, Bjorn And John to re-open London Garage venue

Swedish poppers play launch party of North London venue

London venue The Garage is set to officially re-open its doors on June 26 with a live show from Peter, Bjorn and John.

Now known as the Relentless Garage due to a partnership with the Relentless energy drinks brand, the Highbury Corner venue has been closed for three years.

There were plans for the venue to open sooner but the discovery of asbestos in the building meant that further work had to take place, reports The London Paper.

More bands are set to be announced for the launch party, which will also make use of all three rooms at the venue, including the Upstairs At The Garage space and the 50-capacity Mini Bar.

Bloc Party will play a sold out charity show for fundraisers Trekstock the night before the official opening party (June 25).
