Ryan Tedder isn’t sure if Harry Styles will release a solo album after all

The One Republic frontman isn't sure if their work together will see the light of day

Ryan Tedder isn’t so sure that Harry Styles will release a much-anticipated solo album after all.

The “>One Republic frontman has been working with Styles recently, but doesn’t know if a solo album will materialise from their work.

“We’ve done a couple of things, I have no idea what they’re for. I don’t know if he’s doing an album, I truthfully don’t”, Tedder told Key103.

But he was open in his praise for the former One Direction singer, describing him as “phenomenally talented”.

Tedder said: “You know, he’s a phenomenally talented writer. You know they say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but clearly the man has taste in a number of areas and that also is true with writing.

“He’s just a chill guy. I don’t think I’ve met anyone with that level of fame that is that unaffected by it.”

Tedder also explained how the pair had met up for writing sessions, and said he was impressed by Styles’s laid back attitude.

“I would love to write with him in the future for no other reason than he is one of the chillest dudes I’ve hung with and down to earth”, Tedder added.

Tedder’s claims come only a month after Styles was officially announced in the cast for Christopher Nolan’s world war two epic Dunkirk, prompting claims that he could be set to shun singing for a successful acting career.
