A former contestant from the BBC talent show FAME ACADEMY will represent the UK at this year’s EUROVISION SONG CONTEST.

27 year old James Fox’s song ’Hold On To Our Love’ won a live poll on UK television this evening (February 28).

As a result, his ballad will be the song that represents the UK in Eurovision 2004, which is scheduled to take place on May 15.

Speaking to the BBC, Fox said: “I’m speechless! Bring it on. I have a proven track record with Fame Academy, so I’m well-equipped for the Eurovision Song Contest.”

Last year’s Eurovision ended in public humiliation for the UK entry Jemini, whose performance of ’Cry Baby’ finished last with no points.
