The band will kick off their touring of new album A Moon Shaped Pool this weekend
Radiohead fans have gathered in Amsterdam ahead of the first gig of the band’s world tour tonight.
The band will kick off their touring of new album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ this weekend with two dates at the Heineken Music Hall, before moving across Europe with three dates at London’s Roundhouse – along with a series of festival performances.
But their fans have now taken to Twitter to express their excitement ahead of the shows – with some posting photos of the lengthy journeys that they had seemingly undertaken to get to Amsterdam.
Among the first fans to make it inside the venue was user @fittr_happier, who posted a photo of the band’s setup – alongside a blank grid in the background.
She also shared photos of the merchandise on offer, including a grey tote bag bearing the band’s logo, and a variety of different t-shirts.
The band’s world tour comes after the release of latest album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ earlier this month.
An NME review described the record as ‘An album of eerie, elusive beauty that is strange, shimmering and uncertain all at the same time.’
