The trad-rock upstarts need you...

Rising LIVERPOOL rockers THE BLACK VELVETS want fans to appear in their forthcoming video.

The trad-rock upstarts release ‘3345’ on March 14 through Vertigo, and they’re shooting the clip at a secret London location on Monday (January 24). Part of the treatment involved a crowd of fans – which is where you come in.

For a chance at fame, just email [url=] with your name, age and contact details. Successful applicants will be notified over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Garbage are making the same offer to their fans in California. The video to their new single ‘Why Do You Love Me?’, out March 28, is being shot on January 31 in Los Angeles. Email

Finally, Million Dead invited 100 fans to the filming of their new video last weekend. The clip for ‘Living The Dream’ sees a reverse glam-rock concert, where the crowd are all dressed in spandex and the band play wearing scruffy jeans and T-shirts before changing back into their glam ‘civvies’ at the end.
