With the summer’s season of live music nearing its end with THE CARLING WEEKEND: READING AND LEEDS FESTIVALS starting today (August 26), NME.COM wants to hear how it’s been for you.

Along with regular summer fixtures like Glastonbury this summer has seen more live music than ever before with the introduction of the likes of the Wireless Festival and massive one off events like Live 8 and Green Day at Milton Keynes.

Additionally with new bands like Kasabian, The Killers and Franz Ferdinand making their impact felt on festival bills for the first time, and the return of the likes of Coldplay and [a][/a], the summer of 2005 has been one of the most jam-packed for live music.
