She had it covered - but how will she get by on her own?...

JOSS STONE returns with her first original album next month.

The teenage soul sensation first emerged last year and soon shot to international stardom. Her Mercury Music Prize-nominated album of covers, ‘The Soul Sessions’, was produced by the legendary Betty Wright, and famously featured a version of White Stripes’ ‘Fell In Love With A Girl’.

Now, she has completed her first collection of original material which 17-year-old Stone has co-written.

‘Mind, Body And Soul’ is released on September 27 via Relentless. The first single, ‘You Had Me’ is out on September 13, although it will be available as a download from [url=]

from August 2 and from normal download outlets two weeks later.

Once again, Stone has collaborated on the album with Wright and Mike Mangini. The past year, meanwhile, has seen her perform with Elton John, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight and Debbie Harry.
