CHINA’s only all girl punk band HANG ON THE BOX have been forced to pull out of the NEW WORLD DISORDER TOUR after the Chinese government deemed their music as “inappropriate”.
The tour, which is due to start on Monday (17), features hotly tipped acts such as Brit-packers My Red Cell, Future Kings Of Spain, and Ludes. The punk outfit were forced to cancel their scheduled dates after the government denied the band visas to travel.
Chinese authorities said the band were “an inappropriate representation of Chinese culture”, through the band’s live act, and song titles such as ’For Some Stupid Cunts At “BBS”’, and ’Ass Hole, I’m Not Your Baby’.
The Disorder tour will continue with the other three acts, and a specially picked local band from each area.
The tour will be causing havoc at the following venues:
