Short supplies in the US is the reason...

The worldwide launch of the IPOD MINI has been moved back to July due to short supplies in the US.

UK customers expecting to get their hands on the baby-sized iPods next month will now have to wait until July while Apple deals with excessive US demand that is currently far exceeding planned supply.

The company is expected to increase manufacturing of the new 1,000 song portable music player in time for the new July deadline for worldwide distribution.
