Louis Edwards, 20, gets the chance of a lifetime...

Having received thousands of entrants and travelled all across the country, superclub CREAM have found a new resident DJ.

Louis Edwards, 20, of Gillingham, Kent, was judged to be the shining talent by the judging panel at Cream last weekend (August 31) as the 700-strong crowd in Liverpool witnessed a set which the judges described as being “fresh” and “revolutionary”!!

Edwards was transformed from being a local hero to being a new addition to Cream’s roster of Resident DJs who, amongst other things, will be given a 52-date global contract from Cream, which will see him play at Cream and

Creamfields events in places such as Ibiza. Also included in the prize is a Muzik magazine covermount CD, a one-off broadcast on the entire Galaxy Network and Juice FM in Liverpool, Sony Minidisc equipment, and the chance to play at Cream’s tenth anniversary weekend at Nation in Liverpool on October 12, as well as at the Muzik magazine awards in October and next year’s MTV Five Night Stand.

On winning Edwards said: “It still hasn’t sunk in – being in the middle of my architect degree one day then being given the opportunity of a lifetime has really spun me on my head! I can’t wait to get started!”
