Police start tent-to-tent enquires and distribute e-fits of suspects...

Police are hunting for two men in connection with an alleged rape at the READING FESTIVAL.

Local police are currently undertaking tent-to-tent inquiries on the campsites at the Reading Festival, after the two men allegedly entered a 16-year-old?s tent and commited rape at approximately 4am this morning (August 26).

The man who is alleged to have attacked the teenager is described as white, 20-27 years of age, 5ft 7′ and of medium build. He is said to have dark eyebrows, blue eyes and short, cropped blonde hair and a southern accent.

A second man, said to be in the vicinity of the tent, is described as black and in his mid-20s. He is well built with muscular biceps and broad shoulders. He has short hair and was wearing a grey or green T-shirt and black trousers.

E-fits of the suspects are currently being circulated on the Reading Festival site, and anyone with information should contact the incident room on 0118 9536000.
