The surviving members of Great White plan to perform together for the first time since the band’s tragic show in Rhode Island resulted in a nightclub fire that killed 99 people, including guitarist Ty Longley.
The group will play just one song during a benefit show at West Hollywood’s Key Club on April 29 to raise money for a Longley memorial fund, according to Billboard.
The charity concert will benefit the late guitarist’s pregnant girlfriend, victim relief funds, and students seeking art scholarships.
Cause of the February 20 fire at the Station club in West Warwick, Rhode Island is still being investigated with various parties involved – including the band, promoters and club owners – all pointing the finger at one another.
