IRELAND REVS UP FOR SUMMER FESTIVAL SEASON

Next month's Planet Love 2000 bill to include Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyk and Justin Robertson - and not a fiddle or an arms-by-your-side dancer in sight...

Judge Jules, LIONROCK’S JUSTIN ROBERTSONLuke Slater, PAUL VAN DYK and ALLISTER WHITEHEAD are amongst the acts taking part in PLANET LOVE 2000, Northern Ireland’s first out-door festival of the summer season to be held on May 28 at Nutts Corner some 20 miles outside of Belfast.

Over 80 other DJs and live acts, including Matt Cantor of Freestylers, Prime Cuts of Scratch Perverts and Mr. C (ex of The Shamen) will perform in seven arenas during the all day event at the former air-field.

This year, the third that the 15,000 capacity dance-fest has been held, will be notable as the first to see Sheffield superclub Gatecrasher venture outdoors. The club will promote their own arena featuring, amongst others Judge Jules, Tall Paul and Scott Bond.

The event follows Homelands Ireland, at Mosney Holiday Centre near Dublin, Eire, on April 29.
