Jon Spencer Blues Explosion (pictured) have added an extra date to their UK tour at Dublin’s Temple Bar on Sunday, November 29. Support comes from Motown ‘legend’ Andre Williams.

Marilyn Manson admitted that he and TRENT REZNOR no longer talk to each other. Speaking to US web site Allstar, Manson said: “I haven’t talked to him since ‘Antichrist Superstar‘, so I don’t know what our relationship is. It’s probably hard for him to deal with Marilyn Manson becoming bigger than NINE INCH NAILS.”

MADONNA‘s new single ‘The Power Of Goodbye‘ is released on November 23 next week, the fourth to be taken from ‘Ray Of Light‘. A huge ballad with string arrangements by Craig Armstrong (who has worked in the past with MASSIVE ATTACK), it’s backed with ‘Little Star‘ and a remix by DALLAS AUSTIN. The 12-inch vinyl version has remixes by Dallas Austin, LUKE SLATER, SUPER LUPER and FABIEN.

THE GETO BOYS, rap legends, release their eighth album ‘Da Good, Da Bad, Da Ugly‘ on Priority on December 7. The Geto Boys now consist of WILLIE D and BRAD ‘MR SCARFACE’ JORDAN, BUSHWICK BILL having departed for a solo career.

ROD STEWART‘s new single ‘Superstar‘, taken from his album ‘When We Were The New Boys‘, is released on December 14 to coincide with his first UK dates since 1995, kicking off at Glasgow SECC on December 6.

SUPERCHARGER, who head out on tour with ALABAMA 3 this week, release their version of PUBLIC IMAGE LTD‘s ‘Public Image‘ on their ‘Punk/Skunk/Funk EP‘, released on Indochina on December 7. As well as the Alabama 3 support, they play SONIC SABOTAGE, SONIC MOOK EXPERIMENT‘s eagerly awaited party at London WC1 Open on November 28 along with a DJ lineup including JAMES (UNKLE, Mo Wax) LAVELLE, RICHARD (DEATH IN VEGAS) FEARLESS, J SAUL (DEPTH CHARGE) KANE, AGENT DAN (MONKEY MAFIA) and others.

TORI AMOS is planning an album of live tracks and b-sides to be released late next year according to US web site Allstar. Amos, currently touring in the US, is recording every show. “There’s a b-side record and there will be some new stuff on that,” she said.

ROB ZOMBIE‘s new single ‘Dragula‘ is released on December 14, the first song to be taken from his album ‘Hellbilly Deluxe‘. The video, directed by Rob, features him driving around in the hot rod from ‘The Munsters‘ TV series. the video is included on the CD ROM of the single. He plays UK dates with support from MONSTER MAGNET at Manchester Academy (December 13), Wolverhampton Civic Hall (14) and London WC2 Astoria (15).

MACK 10, BONES THUGS ‘N’ HARMONY and COOLIO are amongst the artists who have covered tracks from a tribute to NWA. Released ten years ago, ‘Straight Outta Compton‘ is arguably one of the most important rap albums ever. The new rappers have come together to recreate the album and includes Bone Thugs ‘N’ Harmony‘s version of ‘Fuck Tha Police‘. The album is out next week.
