Four men were arrested in the backstage bar of T In The Park at BALADO last night (July 9) on suspicion of drugs offences.
The men were apprehended at the side of the hospitality bar, when officers swooped and handcuffed the men. They are expected to appear in court today (Monday, July 10).
In a separate incident, a Tayside police officer sustained a leg injury during an arrest in one of the festival car parks. Three men were arrested and have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
The latest figures released by police at the festival are that 41 people have been arrested, half drug-related and the rest for minor public order offences. A Tayside Police spokesperson said that they were determined to enforce drug legislation at the festival.
The Perth Ambulance Service reported that 575 people visited First Aid during the festival, and 180 were referred to the hospital tent. In total, 25 were transferred to either Perth Royal Infirmary or Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
