1000 tickets for Chelmsford have been nicked; don't buy one from a dodgy bloke in a pub...

Organisers of the V99 Festivals have announced that 1000 tickets have been stolen for the Chelmsford leg of the event.

The numbers of the tickets have been logged and anyone attempting to get on site with the tickets will be refused entry.

Organisers urge fans to buy tickets only from official ticket lines – such as the nme.com line – and not from touts.

The stolen tickets are orange and are for Saturday August 21 (Chelmsford site) and are clearly numbered 9001 to 10000.

If anyone has information regarding these stolen tickets, they should contact Sergeant Chris White on 01245 212 558.

Tickets for V99 are available from nme.com‘s 24-hour ticketline on 0870 121 0125 or click here to go to our online gig guide and ticket service.
