Plus details of webchats, a competition to win a years supply of beer and band minisites with singles videos, discounts and more...

To celebrate next week’s NME Premier shows nme.com will be undertaking it’s the most ambitious series of webcasts, webchats and videos ever.

Every single show at the NME Premier Showswill be webcast the day after the shows at 7pm in the evening (except the Radio 1 Ash night which will be two days after) so you can see the all the headline acts including The Beta Band, Embrace, Elastica, Feeder, Ash and Asian Dub Foundation. So if you live in Aberdeen, Idaho or Tokyo, you’ll be able to argue with your friends about whether Terris really are the best new band.

nme.com will also be webcasting the NME Premier Awards for the first time on the night of the awards so tune in on 1 February at 8pm to see the awards in all their glory. There is also a special award voted by readers of nme.com for the Greatest Performance at the NME Shows so wherever you see or hear the gigs – if you go there, see the webcasts or hear them Ash, Muse or Angelica on Radio 1 – you can pick your favourite and vote. Voting opens at 9am 1 February and closes at 3pm the same day where the results will be rushed over to the Mermaid Theatre in time for the award to be presented.

nme.com will be interviewing all the bands taking part and there will be webchats with The Beta Band, Feeder, Asian Dub Foundation, Aziz, Embrace, Shack and Ash.

Go to the nme.com Premier Shows minisite now for details of all the line-ups, the times of the webcasts, there are individual sites on all the bands being added with singles and videos in full, biographies, 15% off selected releases and discographies.
