GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL organisers are asking festival goers to vote for the bands they’d most like to see at this year’s event.
It’s the first time since the event was founded that fans have been asked to help pick the bill for the UK’s biggest open-air extravaganza, which is due to take place on June 23, 24 and 25.
Festival booker MARTIN ELBOURNE said he and the team would read and consider all votes – but stressed that only one vote per person was allowed.
At the moment, there’s speculation that Oasis, RADIOHEAD and DAVID BOWIE have agreed to headline the event, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary.
However, Martin told nme.com that no acts had been confirmed as yet.
