R&B artist Beyoncé has launched a range of clothing, whilst also teasing brand new music that could be taken from her imminent sixth album.
The clothing line – entitled Ivy Park – will be released worldwide through outlets such as Topshop, Nordstorm, Net-A-Porter and other mainstream fashion outlets. However, on the clothing line’s website, you can flick through snippets of music. The instrumentals include new single Formation but also what appears to be new, unreleased material. The Democratic presidential candidate met with the popstar on March 24 on the Los Angeles set of her new video, reports US Weekly.
The magazine’s source could not establish whether Clinton will appear in an on-screen cameo, but a second insider confirmed that Beyoncé is working on a new album that is “likely” to be released in April.
At an Iowa town hall in December, the former Secretary of State was asked whether she would rather be president or Beyoncé. “I want to be as good a president as Beyoncé is a performer,” Clinton replied.
Beyoncé attended a Clinton fundraiser in New York last May, according to Bloomberg. Her husband, Jay-Z, previously endorsed Barack Obama in the 2008 and 2012 presidential races.
In February, Beyoncé performed at the Super Bowl halftime show together with Coldplay, following the release of her new song and video ‘Formation’.
The singer will embark on world tour next month, beginning in Miami on April 27. She is due to play the UK during June and July.
