KRS-1 LAUNCHES ‘SNEAK ATTACK’

The "greatest emcee of all time" releases new album in March...

KRS-1, influential leader of BOOGIE DOWN PRODUCTIONS, is set to release his first album in almost four years on a brand new label, NME.COM has learned.

The man behind one of the most revered hip hop outfits of the 80’s and described variously as “the greatest emcee of all time” and “the conscience of hip hop” will release ‘The Sneak Attack’ through Front Page/In The Paint Records, an imprint of Koch International on March 26 in the UK and a day later in the US. It is his first album since ‘I Got Next’, released in 1997 through his previous longterm home Jive records.

There are no details currently available of prospective tours to support the album.
