GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL organisers have broken with tradition and announced the full line up today (June 1) for this year’s festival, which takes place on June 23-25.

As reported on nme.com yesterday, full details of the line-up on the 14 stages are to be unveiled on their website [url=]www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk today. Over 500 acts have already been confirmed.

In previous years, organisers have attempted to keep the bill secret until a few days before the festival, in a bid to ensure that music fans come for the whole experience, rather than going because of one band.

As already revealed, the headliners of the newly-built Pyramid Stage are Travis, David Bowie and Chemical Brothers. The only headliners that the festival organisers are keeping under wraps are those appearing in new dance arena The Glade.
