The duo are set to perform together for the first time since 2013

Flight Of The Conchords have announced their first musical reunion since 2013. Set to perform at Newport Folk Festival in Newport, Rhode Island, it’s the folk duo’s first appearance in the US since the Funny or Die Oddball Festival in 2013.

Set to take place from July 22nd to July 24th, the pair will be headlining Friday night. Other artists already announced include Father John Misty (solo), Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Ray Lamontagne with My Morning Jacket, The Oh Hellos, St. Paul & The Broken Bones and others.

Earlier today, they tweeted “It’s true! We’ll see you at Newport Folk Festival this summer!!”

Talking to Consequence of Sound in August last year, Jermaine Clement said “We are hoping to announce a tour. We’ll announce it before the end of the year, hopefully, and then some time next year get on the road … after we get some new guitar strings and that sort of thing.”

No further dates have been announced.
