MUSE are to embark on an extensive UK tour in the spring before the release of their second, as-yet-untitled album, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.
The trio, who release a brand new single ‘Plug In Baby’ on February 26 through Taste Media/Mushroom Records, will appear at:

‘Plug In Baby’ will be available
on two CDs, cassette and limited edition seven-inch (available March 5) and will be included on the new album, whichis slated for release early summer.
The single was produced by David Bottrill (Tool, Deus, A Perfect
Circle) andMuse and mixed by the band with John Cornfield, who has previously worked with Supergrass and Bluetones.
Their new album will be recorded in January and February, and mixed in March.
The group’s debut album ‘Showbiz’ has sold in excess of 180,000 copies in the UK and over half a million world-wide. They played over 50 festivals last year including headline slots at Reading/Leeds Carling Weekend.
