The re-design unveiled in this week's issue makes NME the world's first full-colour weekly rock'n'roll newspaper...

This week’s NME undergoes the most radical change in the paper’s infamous 46-year history when it becomes the world’s first full-colour weekly rock’n’roll newspaper.

Priced at #1.05 and gleaming with colour from each and every page, the new-look NME – the re-launch issue stars Shirley Manson from Garbage on the cover and an interview with her inside – will continue to bring you all the news, reviews, interviews and gossip with the additional bonus that the ink no longer comes off on your hands!

To mark this historic occasion, your re-vamped NME will also come with the paper’s first-ever cover-mounted CD giveaway. ‘NME Clean Sweep, Live At The Astoria ’98’ is a 15-track disc featuring the cream of performances from this year’s London Brat Awards Shows including tracks from Super Furry Animals, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Travis, Mogwai, Stereophonics, The Deftones and that already legendary collaboration between Spiritualized and Suicide.
