The New Musical Express Internet site, which has been online since June 1996, has been certified by ABC//electronic as the busiest UK-originated music site. ABC confirmed the audited NME.com figures for the month January 1-31, 1998, at 96,936 users and 3,071,247 page impressions.
Brendon Fitzgerald, nme.com editor, says, “Achieving Number One UK music site is a great accolade for all involved as well as an excellent bonus for the newspaper.
