V2000 organisers have announced free rail travel will be made available from anywhere in the country on VIRGIN TRAINS to the Staffordshire leg of the festival.

To be entitled to free transport, festival goers need to book a weekend ticket with camping for the event, which takes place at Weston Park, Staffordshire on August 19 and 20.

Trains will run to Stafford and Wolverhampton, where shuttle buses will be on hand to take festival goers to Weston Park, priced at #4 return.

The other leg of this year’s V2000 festival takes place Hylands Park, Chelmsford. Tickets for both the events are priced #66 for the weekend, and #76 for the weekend, including camping. Day tickets are also available for both days, priced #37.50.

Acts already confirmed to play this year’s festival include Richard Ashcroft, Travis, Paul Weller, Moby, Beth Orton, Macy Gray, Supergrass and Mansun.
