New wave of artists join PJ Harvey, James Blake and more
Field Day have confirmed the next wave of artists for their 2016 festival, including The Mystery Jets and French electronic duo Air.
The new additions have been included on the Sunday line up, with further new names coming in the form of Adam Green,
D.D Dumbo, Empress Of, Fat White Family, Kimmo Pohjonen, Skin, Mind Enterprises, Steve Mason and The Temper Trap. The London festival takes place in London’s Victoria Park between June 11-12 .
They join PJ Harvey (who headlines on Sunday), alongside Beach House, Goat, John Grant and The Thurston Moore Band.
The Mystery Jets released ‘Curve Of The Earth’ on January 15, 2016 via Caroline International. The LP was recorded at a “disused button factory” in east London.
James Blake will headline the festival for the first time this year on the Saturday, having last appeared in 2011. Bicep, Frisco, Girl Band, Gold Panda, Kelela, Little Simz, Yeasayer, Mabel, Metz, Nao, Novelist, Deerhunter, Skepta, Four Tet, Dean Blunt, Mount Kimbie (DJ set), Wild Nothing and Youth Lagoon and Sleaford Mods are all confirmed to perform on the Saturday.
