The Strokes man has also announced an October release for single 'Losing Touch'
Albert Hammond Jr has unveiled his video for ‘Caught By My Shadow’, which features a psychedelic encounter with a hooded, chess-playing figure.
It follows immediately from where the video for ‘Losing Touch’ left off. Both were shot over two days in Tangier, Morocco, and directed by Laurent Briet. In the first instalment, he runs through a city before escaping to a beach. The chess scene in the new video is a tribute to Ingmar Bergman’s ‘The Seventh Seal’, in which the protagonist plays chess against death.
Hammond has also announced that his single for ‘Losing Touch’ will be released on October 9 via Infectious Music.

Speaking to NME before the release of the album, he stated that there’s “nothing weird” about his move away from his Strokes bandmate Julian Casablancas’ record label, adding that he simply “needed a different home”.
