Speaking about the album, Crutchfield states that the songs reflect a period of indecision in her life. “My life has changed a lot in the last two years, and it’s been hard for me to process my feelings other than by writing songs,” she said. “I think a running theme [of ‘Ivy Tripp’] is steadying yourself on shaky ground and reminding yourself that you have control in situations that seem overwhelming.”

Waxahatchee will play:

London Electric Ballroom (June 10)
Bristol The Fleece (11)
Manchester The Ruby Lounge (12)
Dublin Button Factory (13)
Belfast McHughs (14)
Glasgow Stereo (15)
Newcastle The Cluny (16)
Leeds The Brudenell Social Club (17)
Sheffield The Harley (18)
