Liam Gallagher teases music comeback with cryptic Twitter message

He's back to reclaim his 'crown', apparently

Liam Gallagher has teased his return to music with a cryptic message on Twitter.

The former Oasis singer has being lying low ever since Beady Eye announced their split in October 2014, and hasn’t released any music since then.

But he’s now suggested that new music could be on its way- after claiming that he was on his way to reclaim his ‘crown’.

He wrote on Twitter: “Be afraid you so called troubadours and you plastic rock n rollers give your paper crown 1 last cuddle coz I’m on my way LG X”.

Of course, there’s relatively little else to suggest that the singer could be about to launch his comeback, but it didn’t stop a flurry of speculation from his fans.

“NEW RECORD RIGHT?”, one fan excitedly asked.

Welcoming the yet-to-be-confirmed return, another said: “Well that was about time. Welcome back. Music has been shite for 5 years, it’s all yours.”

The latest post comes three weeks after Liam used Twitter to claim that he wanted to reform Oasis, but said that brother Noel wasn’t interested.

He wrote: “Listen up: no Oasis reunion. Rkid’s not into it. I am – he’s too busy being beige. New sounds on their way. Stay cool, and most of all stay relevant.”
