Band also announce shows with Queens Of The Stone Age and The National
Warpaint have recorded a live session featuring the track ‘Love Is To Die’.
The session, for Yours Truly, can be seen below. The song is from the band’s current self-titled album. It comes as Warpaint announce they are to support Queens Of The Stone Age and The National in the USA.
The show with Queens Of The Stone Age is at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on April 17. They then support The National for three shows at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, from April 21-23.
The concerts are in addition to a newly-announced US headline tour, which starts at High Noon Salon in Madison on March 30. Warpaint then come to play at UK festivals, with appearances at Parklife, Field Day and Reading And Leeds Festivals.
Warpaint singer/guitarist Emily Kokal recently told NME the band operates as “a democracy of dictators”. She said: “There’s a lot of give and take. That’s a part of our process as a band, that’s inside the music. If we didn’t have that tension I don’t think the music would be that good.”
