Lady Gaga to co-host BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show tomorrow

Singer will join Nick Grimshaw as her comeback single 'Perfect Illusion' drops

Lady Gaga will co-host the Radio 1 Breakfast Show tomorrow (September 9), the BBC’s flagship station has announced.

The pop singer will join Nick Grimshaw during his show from 6.30am to 10am to discuss her comeback single ‘Perfect Illusion’ as it drops tomorrow.

Gaga tweeted the single’s release date earlier this week alongside a photo of its cover art plus what appear to be lyrics from the song.

A tweet with the hashtag #PerfectIllusion has the lines: “I don’t need eyes to see / I felt you touchin’ me / High like amphetamine / Maybe you’re just a dream.”

It’s already been revealed that ‘Perfect Illusion’ was written and produced with Mark Ronson, Tame Impala singer Kevin Parker and Grimes/Justin Bieber producer BloodPop.

Other musicians said to have worked on Gaga’s new album include Nile Rodgers, Paul McCartney, Elton John and her old producer RedOne, with whom she made singles including ‘Bad Romance’ and ‘Poker Face’.
